We proposed two offers – an unconditional offer as is and a subject to planning offer which was much higher giving us the ability obtain planning for a conversion and mitigating our risk – the higher subject to planning offer suited, as the sellers weren’t time pressured. Our professional team go to work, planning was submitted and a consent was granted within the agreed timeframes, with contracts completing upon planning being granted. A win win for both parties.
